In order to attain a new D1 category on your licence you will also need to pass a theory test. The PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) theory test comes in two parts which contains 100 multi choice questions and 19 hazard perception video clips.

Although you may be planning to take the PCV theory test just to help you attain the licence category to drive a minibus, many questions contained within the test will also require you to understand the principles of driving much larger buses and coaches.
